How to Make Doughnuts (Serving for 5)
① Make the egg wash – Add 1 egg to 100 ml (1/2 cup) of water or milk and stir well to combine.

② Knead – Place 500g (1/2 sachet) of Ottogi Doughnut Mix in a dough bowl, pour in ① egg wash and knead lightly for 2-3 minutes to ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed, then leave to rest for about 10 minutes. (Be careful not to knead for too long as this will cause the doughnuts to harden).

③ Flatten the dough – On a flat board, sprinkle a little flour or Doughnut mix and flatten the dough from ② with a round rolling pin to about 0.5-0.7 cm thick.

④ Shape – take the flat dough from ③ and shape it into Doughnut. (You can do this by pressing it with a cup to cut it into rounds, then pressing the center with the tip of a bottle and cutting it out).

⑤ deep-fry – Heat the OTTOGI cooking oil in a wok or frying pan and when it reaches around 160°C, add the prepared ④ and deep-fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side.

⑥ Finish after frying – After frying, dust with sugar or cinnamon sugar (a mixture of sugar with a little cinnamon powder and starchy flour) to make the doughnuts even more delicious.

Note – When you drop a little doughnut batter into the oil, if it touches the bottom and floats after about 2-3 seconds, it is around 160°C.
